T-Mobile is going strong with its Un-carrier activities with the Magenta Carrier offering yet another holiday gift for subscribers currently under the umbrella of another carrier.

On Thursday, December 3, T-Mobile officially announced its latest “unwrapped” promotion, this one focused on AT&T customers. With this specific deal, any AT&T customer that makes the switch to T-Mobile can get a 128GB iPhone 6s for $200 off — which makes it the same price as the 16GB iPhone 6s. This offer is available for AT&T customers, but it’s also available to GoPro pre-paid customers, as well as those using Cricket Wireless.
Customers will need to switch to T-Mobile’s Simple Choice plan, which is postpaid, between December 4 (Friday) and Sunday, December 13. Switchers will also be able to take advantage of T-Mobile’s “Carrier Freedom” promotion, which will see the Magenta Carrier pay upwards of $650 towards an owed balance for those switching over to T-Mobile, which should help pay off Early Termination Fees attached to AT&T’s devices.
That’s not all the gifts for AT&T switchers, though. T-Mobile is also offering up to half off select accessories for those who switch from Big Blue, which means new T-Mobile customers coming over from AT&T can see price discounts of up to $125.
“I can already hear AT&T customers asking ‘What’s the catch?’ And I don’t blame them—because with AT&T there’s always a catch,” said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile. “But that’s not us. And this is our way of showing long-suffering AT&T customers exactly how the Un-carrier gives you more without asking more from you – with a sweet memory upgrade on the world’s most famous smartphone – and half-off the best accessories. It’s our gift to you.”
In November, T-Mobile launched two Unwrapped promotions, with the first focused on unlimited LTE data for its Simple Choice subscribers for a certain period of time, and the second offering Sprint customers an additional $200 credit per line to switch.
T-Mobile still has a couple of weeks to go for its Unwrapped promotions, so it will be interesting to see what else the Magenta Carrier has up its sleeve to woo potential subscribers.
