After releasing a tease for its iPad version, Beats Music
today delivered on that hint by releasing version 2.0 of its app with
support for the iPad. The new version is available now for subscribers
in the US to download. The iPad version is an expanded version of the iOS app that has been formatted for the iPad’s larger screen. Not playing second fiddle to the iOS version, the iPad app has all the latest features of the iPhone version including Just for You, Find It, My Library, and offline listening.
What’s New in Version 2.0.0Beats Music is available in the US for free from the iOS App Store. New users are eligible for free, 7-day trial, while existing users must pay $9.99 monthly for a subscription. iPhone owners can purchase a subscription directly in the iOS app, a feature that Beats Music added last month.
