Circlet: An Awesome new tweak to theme your iPhone’s Status Bar Indicators

Theming has always been a big part of the jailbreaking world. Alkaline - a tweak that allows you to theme status bar indicators like the battery, Wi-fi indicator etc has been one of my favorite tweaks. Circlet is a new jailbreak tweak developed by Julian Weiss that aims to make it a lot simpler to theme your iPhone’s status bar indicators.
Circlet is a pretty straightforward tweak. It allows you to theme status bar indicators such as the signal bar, Wi-fi, data, and battery with circular indicators. After you download and install Circlet, just jump into the settings to enable which indicators you want themed. Once you enable the Circlet for a specific indicator, you can then customize how it looks by changing the style, size and color.

As you see in the picture above, you have 3 options for how the Circlet indicator is filled. The developer, insanj, explains each setting well:

“Radial fills right-to-left like a clock. Fill fills from bottom to top, and Concentric expands and contracts an inner-circle. Inverting flips how the circle fills (empties from right to left, fills from top to bottom, and expands and contracts a hollow circle).”

So once you’ve decided on your fill style, you can move on down to the size and colors of the indicator. You’ll have an option for a small, medium, and large depending on your preference. Depending on the color of the status bar, you will have two separate colors to choose. One for the “light” color and one for the “dark”. This will make it more visible on the different color status bars as long as you choose contrasting colors.
Once you choose your settings, just go back to the first menu and tap “Apply Settings”. That’s right, no respring required, which is a huge plus in my book. The 2 other indicators have very similar settings as mentioned above and are just as easy to navigate.
