iPhone 6 physical mockup compared to Samsung Galaxy S5

iPhone 6 mockup vs Samsung Galaxy S5 - side-by-side
We’ve seen plenty of iPhone 6 mockups that show Apple’s next-generation iPhone with the rumored 4.7-inch screen.
Yesterday, Italian site Macitynet  shared photos of the iPhone 6 physical mockup, which gave us a good idea of how the larger iPhone would stack up against the 4-inch iPhone 5s.
The site has also published photos comparing the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 physical mockup with Samsung’s latest flagship, the Galaxy S5. The mockup is apparently the final version created by a case manufacturer to ensure cases will fit iPhone 6 when it is launched.
Samsung’s Galaxy S5 comes with a 5.1-inch display and is 8.1mm thick, so not surprisingly it is longer and thicker than the iPhone 6 mockup. According to rumors, iPhone 6 will feature an ultra-thin design and could be just 6mm thick. It is also slightly wider than the iPhone 5s.

In the comparison photos, you can also see the thinner design of the iPhone 6, along with the new rounded edges as opposed to the chamfered edges on the iPhone 5s. You can also see the new position of the power button at the side, which will facilitate one-handed use.

The mockup also suggests the iPhone 6 could come with an all-alluminum back casing.

Apple is widely reported to be working on two variants of the iPhone 6 this year, with a thinner design, smaller bezels, rounded edges and more. The first variant will have a 4.7 inch display, and is expected to be launched this fall, but the larger 5.5-inch variant is facing yield issues, and is reportedly delayed.
iPhone 6 may also be powered by Apple’s new A8 processor with 1GB RAM, Touch ID fingerprint sensor, and an improved 8-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). The iPhone 6 is expected to run iOS 8, which may feature a new apps such as Healthbook, TextEdit and Preview, improved Maps, inter-app communication capabilities and more.
