Uber
has launched a beta program alongside a newly-designed Android app
today. The app has a fresh interface, a slide-in menu and improved
performance all around. The beta
is currently open to all users, all you have to do is join the group
through a few clicks and then install the updated app through the Play
Store."We've rebuilt the app from the ground up," Uber said on its blog. "Expect enhanced performance, revamped design, and easier access to your favorite features like Fare Split and Share My ETA."
If you want to be part of the beta group, it's just a few easy steps. First, you will need to join the Uber beta user group on Google+. Second, you will need to sign up with click to become a beta tester on Google Play. And finally, you can download the app on the Google Play Store from the link above.
