At WWDC 2014, Apple announced Xcode 6 as well as the new, faster, and more efficient Swift programming language. But what they didn’t announce is that they also included a subtle tribute the Steve Jobs-era Apple and the “Think different” advertising campaign that can be found on the icon of every Swift project file.

Notably, this isn’t the first reference to this text written by Rob Siltanen and Lee Clow, with the current Notes application icon also sporting the words (which, funnily removed with the introduction of OS X Yosemite).
