While Apple is yet to officially announce when it will start selling the new iPad on Friday, March 16th, we had reported yesterday that clues indicated an early 8:00 am launch for the new iPad.
9 to 5 Mac has just posted a photo of the new signage from their retail store source, which confirms that Apple will start selling the third generation iPad at 8:00 am on Friday, March 16th.

A friend in retail just sent us some artwork from upcoming Apple Store frontage which confirms Store will open early – 8am –to sell the third generation iPad.
Apple has reportedly scheduled an overnight shift on Thursday to get the retail stores ready for the early morning launch on Friday. It will be an 8:00 am launch for Apple Retail stores not just in the U.S. but the other 9 launch countries, which includes Canada, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.
