ActiveBoard adds glow effect to currently-running applications [Jailbreak Tweak]

ActiveBoard, an evolution of the well-known ActiveDock tweak from iOS 6, has now been released and it does a great job of building upon and reinventing its predecessor. While ActiveDock mainly intended to make the iOS dock look more like Mac OS X, ActiveBoard does even more by of showing you which apps are running with a tasteful glow effect.
ActiveBoard comes from a renowned pair comprised of designer Thientam Bach (Surenix), and developer Filippo Bigarella. And, as you might expect, it’s very polished and native-looking; it fits in with iOS 7 almost perfectly, and feels as if it should be a feature included by Apple.
After you install the tweak, you’ll notice that running applications have a very nice glow effect pulsating around their Springboard icons. Unlike ActiveDock, the effect applies to all apps, and not just those sitting in the iOS dock.
See the below Tweet and Vine posted by Surenix himself:
To get an app to stop glowing, all you have to do is open the multitasking switcher and force-close it. But the tweak goes even further than just telling you which of your apps are running. A second glow effect (as you can see on the Messages app in the above animation) makes the app glow red and bounce subtly, telling you that you have active notifications within the app that are awaiting your attention.
Sadly, the tweak and its simplicity (and very native feel) includes its Settings. Unlike its predecessor, ActiveBoard doesn’t have any configurable settings or options. Luckily, however, you can go into the standard Notifications settings to disable the numerical badge for apps that have notifications, leaving just the clean and beautiful red glow.

You can get ActiveBoard from the Cydia Store right now, and as you can see above, it’s compatible with iPad. It costs $1.99 for most users, but those who owned ActiveDock previously get the tweak completely free.
