We have already seen physical mockups of 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6, which has given us a good idea of what the larger iPhone would look and feel like in the hand.
The physical mockup reveals the following details about the iPhone 6:
- The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 physical mockup sports an ultra-thin design with rounded edges, and measures only 6 mm.
- It also has the power button to top right hand side of the device, which is in line with rumor that have indicated that Apple will be changing the position of the button for easier one-handed access on the larger iPhone.
- The model also has rectangular volume buttons on the left, and the camera and LED at the back. The LED is circular in shape and not elongated like the iPhone 5s. It could suggest that Apple has managed to make changes to the TrueTone flash, which was first introduced last year in iPhone 5s to make it circular.
- The report also claims that Apple will use a three-stage aluminum design on the back of the iPhone 6 with two antenna break cut out at the back of the device. This is also in line with rumors, which have indicated iPhone 6 may sport an all-aluminum back casing.
iPhone 6 may also be powered by Apple’s new A8 processor with 1GB RAM, Touch ID fingerprint sensor, and an improved 8-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). The iPhone 6 is expected to run iOS 8, which may feature a new apps such as Healthbook, TextEdit and Preview, improved Maps, inter-app communication capabilities and more.
