Angry Birds Epic now available worldwide for iPhone and iPad

Angry Birds is one of the most popular mobile game franchises for iPhone and iPad, redefining the App Store since the original title was released over four years ago. Looking to continue upon that success, Rovio has rolled out Angry Birds Epic worldwide as the latest game in the expansive series. 

Angry Birds Epic is an RPG-based adventure game with turn-based battles between a heroic flock of warriors and green snout-nosed scoundrels. There are several worlds to explore across a fantasy Piggy Island, ranging from tribal villages and frosty mountains to tropical beaches and mysterious caves.
The characters available to play with include the heroes Red, Chuck and Bomb, going up against the infamous King Pig, Wiz Pig, Prince Porky and other classic pig villains. These characters can be levelled up, gaining better armor and weapons as they take on the mightiest pig warrior.
The in-game weapons include a wooden sword, frying pan and even a sponge attached to a stick. As you might be able to tell, the game has a bit of offbeat humor with quirky characters using silly costumes and weapons.

Angry Birds Epic is now available worldwide for free on the App Store, universally compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. But as we’ve come to expect from any Angry Birds title, there are several in-app purchases available. Lucky Coins cost between 99 cents and $49.99.
The game is also available on Google Play and the Windows Phone Store.
