iPhone 5 Will Have 3.5 Inch Screen, 4G LTE Compatibility & Launch In October (Report)

The new iPad third generation has just been released, but that does not stop the rumor mill which seems will never end for an Apple product. So here we are back with a rumor regarding the next generation iPhone, iPhone 5.

According to a new report today by iMore, iPhone 5 will have the same screen size as all the previous versions of the iPhone model, a 3.5 inch screen. This is something we are not expecting Apple to do. Many Apple fans around the world last year expected Apple to launch the next generation iPhone with a larger screen compared to the iPhone 4. But when Apple launched iPhone 4S people were disappointed with the same design and the screen size. let’s hope Apple does not do that this time.
Next on the list is, a 4G LTE capable iPhone. This is an obvious one. Apple has launched the new iPad 3 with LTE capability and there is no reason why Apple will not launch iPhone 5 with LTE technology. So this definitely gets the green signal.

Also on the list on getting a make-over is the traditional 30 pin dock connector. To save space Apple might use a micro dock connector which would be valuable in saving space for other more important components. To even further save space Apple is currently talking about an nano SIM card too, which is about one third smaller than micro SIM card.
Now that biggest question that remains is when is Apple going to launch the new iPhone 5. According to sources it is going to be fall of this year, somewhere between October. This goes on par with previous predictions for a launch of the sixth generation iPhone, iPhone 5.
